Trust is an important part of our personal relationship with God. When we say we trust God we send a message both to God and others that speak confidence. To trust God means we are confident in His ability to provide, protect, heal, and lead us.
There was a certain nobleman whose son was sick in Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus had come from Judea into Galilee, he begged Him to come and heal his son, for he was at the point of death… Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed…, and he went his way (John 4:46-47, 50).
The nobleman in this story had traveled for more than twenty miles to ask Jesus to heal his son.
