2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, 2022 is here! It is time to make all things new. Most people would agree that 2021 was much like 2020. Both were very unpleasant years. In 2021, in the United States alone, the year was mostly defined by the Coronavirus pandemic and the Delta and Omicron variants. The United States reported more than 5 million COVID-19 cases. In addition, there were more than 160,000 deaths. This generation has witnessed things in 2021 that no other generation before us has ever seen. It is only by the grace of God that we are still here.
Let’s not enter 2022 with the same old 2021 attitude. Make 2022 the year of new beginnings. Shake off the old and put on the new. Let go of the pain, anxiety, and depression of last year.
The scripture says, “…if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” Through Him, we have received grace (Romans 1:5), through whom also we have access to God by faith into this grace (Romans 5:2). When Christ rose from the dead, He became a new creation. That was the dawning of a new beginning for everyone who believes in Him.

Make all things new in 2022 by renewing your mind. The Bible says you are renewed by transforming your mind (Romans 12:2). Don’t just say it’s a new year and expect your life to turn around. You have to purposely work at making all things new. You can change the way you think by changing the way you talk because your words have the power to transform your life.
Start the New Year with grace. Remember, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
